This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Industrial Knitting Machinist / Industrial Knitting Machine Operator to join a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation, fulfilling manufacturing orders for metal mesh-based and other knitted products. The Knitting Machinist / Industrial Knitting Machine Operator is required to cover the evening shift (from 4pm) for a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation, for an initial 6-month fixed term contract, with the potential for a permanent contract from 2027.
The Role
The Industrial Knitting Machinist / Industrial Knitting Machine Operator will be responsible for machine set-up, operations and monitoring across the evening shift, for the production of metal mesh-based and other knitted products. You will perform routine machine adjustments, troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical/operational issues, and will accurately record production data and maintenance activities.
