Refrigeration Engineer \n\nLocation: Various locations across the region\nSalary: Up to £49,000 basic + Overtime\nCall-Out: 1 in 4 rota\nHours: 40 hours per week\n\n We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing team working across a portfolio of supermarket and retail refrigeration contracts.\n This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong CO₂ refrigeration experience who is looking to join a business that can offer job security and excellent earning potential through overtime.\n \nThe Role \nService, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment across supermarket sites. \nWorking on CO₂ packs, remote packs, integral units, cold rooms and associated refrigeration plant. \nDiagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently to minimise downtime for customers.

\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work. \nParticipating in a 1 in 4 call-out rota. \nMaintaining high levels of customer service and technical standards.

Requirements \nProven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer within the supermarket or food retail sector. \nStrong knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems and associated controls. \nAbility to carry out fault finding, service and repair work independently.

\nValid F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential). \nCO₂ refrigeration training and experience (essential). \nCity & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.

\nFull UK driving licence. \nExcellent communication and customer-facing skills.
